TERMS & POLICIES:


order process:

Once the bride/bridesmaid/client has decided upon the desired dress style, color, size, and any other necessary dress information, we will require a full payment before we can begin production. This is due to the fact that all dresses are made to order. You must sign and submit both order form and policy/contract form.


fabric:

Our entire collection is made from 100% Dupioni silk or 100% Polyester Chiffon, both are imported fabrics that are doubled lined for shape and to provide a better fit. Fabric such as Dupioni may contain irregularities, which are characteristics of this fabric and should in no way be thought of as a defect. Fabric colors vary from roll to roll and may not be the same as the color on the swatch or color card due to dye-lot variations. All shawls, handkerchiefs and extra fabric need to be ordered at the same time dress orders are placed to ensure dye-lot consistency.


sizing:

Our entire collection of dresses are made from standard sizes and are ordered by size only (from 0-24). Please refer to the sizing chart to see which size category you best fall into. We will work with each individual to decide the best size depending on their measurements based from the sizing chart. We recommend choosing the larger size if you fall in between sizes. It is much easier to take in than letting a garment out. If a client chooses to order a size that is not recommended by one of our detailed size chart, the client will be responsible for choosing that size. We will not be responsible for a dress size that does not fit after a client has signed off on the size. When measurements are taken, the client is responsible for those measurements and if a new dress is needed due to incorrect size, the client will be charged full price.


pregnant /post-pregnant clients:

We offer 2 options: 1) determine a larger size based upon the final measurements once the order has been placed. 2) We can wait to take final measurements 6 weeks before the wedding date, requiring a 15% rush fee, paid at the time of the order. If a client becomes pregnant and the order has already been processed, Ali B Maids, LLC is not held responsible for remaking a new dress and the client will be charged full price for a new dress.


alterations:

Ali B Maids, LLC does not offer alteration services. Please remember our dresses are made to order, they are not custom made to your specific size. Therefore, the price of the dress/garment does not include alterations. If you decide you need alterations, they can be adjusted after you receive the dress and we can recommend professional tailors/seamstress. We are not responsible for any alterations made after you receive the garment from us.


delivery:

Please allow 12 weeks for delivery upon receipt of full payment from the entire bridal party. We recommend you order the dress at least 16 weeks before the wedding to allow time for additional alterations after you receive the dress from us.


rush order:

We can provide rush orders less than 12 weeks depending on our production schedule and availability of colors. For rush orders of 10-12 weeks, there will be a $25 fee per dress. 5–9 weeks, there will be a $35 fee per dress added to the total order. For rush orders 4 weeks and under, a $65 fee per dress will be added to the total order.


shipping:

There is a $15 shipping fee per dress if mailed in the states. We ship via 3-day UPS Ground, with an additional charge for next day air. We insure all shipments. We do not accept P.O. Box addresses. For orders shipped outside of the United States, the client is responsible for any shipping and handling fees as well as any duties and taxes that may be assessed upon pick-up of the package.


tax:

8.375% New York State sales tax will be added on all merchandise


payments:

All payments must be made in full before we begin our production. We accept most major credit cards. Checks must clear before processing an order. A $50 fee will be charged for returned checks.


return policy:

Due to the fact that all garments are made to order, there are no exchanges or returns on all merchandise purchased. All sales are final. Any concerns or comments will only be accepted within 10 days of receiving the dress.
